Months have passed

Months have indeed past since the last visit to Patagonia. I have been to other places, and not all for fun. Korea, for one. Wearing black boots and BDUs. So far I have gotten away with not wearing the black beret. Then back to Colorado, and a drive to California. Then a flight to Auckland, New Zealand. There for a few days with my parents, who were married there many years ago, when Giant Sloths walked the earth. Then back to Colorado, where as I write this, at 7600 feet elevation, the summer weather is just fine.

Claudio Mattassi has been sending photos from Puerto Natales. He says they are finally getting broadband down there, and that it has been snowing. Let's see if I can remember how to add a photo or two to these pages. Yes, that seems to do it. A Patagonian fox. And one of what he referred to as just another shitty day in paradise. Country roads, take me back.... to Patagonia.
